5c Surcharges
The "5 cent." overprint appeared in three spacings, Narrrow, Wide and Superwide. All were placed on the 2c red Sierra of both varieties, normal and S or slanted.
Cancels


Above is a cover with a block of four stamps with 5 centavo Narrow surcharges. The top pair is slanted from row four. The bottom pair is from row five. It is an OCX cover with BH81A cancel and L post marks.

This registered OCX cover was mailed from SPS in August, 1914. Here the 5 cent. surcharge is Wide with a BH81A cancel.
